Izzy Kornblatt is a critic and historian. He is a contributing editor at Architectural Record and is pursuing a Ph.D. in the history and theory of architecture at Yale.
Originally from Massachusetts, he studied at Swarthmore College and the Harvard Graduate School of Design, where he received the 2019 Thesis Prize for his study “Architecture for a New World: Louis Kahn and Philadelphia.”
He has contributed to several books, published in a variety of publications, and curated two exhibitions, among other projects.
